BELOIT – ABC Supply Company is expanding in the new year, with the company set to build a new central office space in Beloit.
Demolition and foundation excavation work on a 132,000 square-foot, 4-story office building will start in the first quarter of next year. Construction will continue during the year, with an expected opening in early 2020, according to ABC Supply Real Estate Director Mark Singer.
Singer unveiled the $30.5 million project at Wednesday’s Greater Beloit Economic Development Corporation (GBEDC) annual investors meeting. Singer told all GBEDC representatives the project was needed due to the company’s “continued expansion and growth.”
“The functions that are going to be housed in the building will be primarily administrative, accounting, finance and credit entities,” Singer said.
Initially, 270 to 300 employees will be relocated to the new building, with the future capacity to house 600 ABC employees.
