The units range from 2,880 to 4,880 square feet, and are fully-customizable. The building itself is comprised of two five-story towers with shared common underground parking structures linking the two towers. The project presented several unique challenges during construction. Managing project logistics due to very tight site conditions required close collaboration among all construction team members. Materials staging, deliveries, and logistics were carefully coordinated and scheduled as required to ensure adequate site access at all times. Additionally, a section of the property north of the building footprint was within a 100-year flood plain. Site drainage was designed with biofiltration to return clean building runoff to the lake. To further prevent drainage issues on-site and to protect our workers, 95 feet of earth retention system was installed. Finally, 225 stone piers were installed to support the building due to the high water table and unstable soils. Demolition: M oose Lodge Facility in J anesville, Wisconsin CCI’s demolition team is completing the demolition of a former Moose Lodge facilit y, pictured right, to make way for the construction of the new BlackhawkCommunity Credit Union Center. Work also includes the removal of various club amenities from grounds such as volleyball courts and horseshoe pits.
