CCI’s Tanya Faber has been honored with The Daily Reporter’s 2024 Women in Construction award. These honorees include a number of the most successful women working within the Wisconsin construction industry and who are paving the way for other women in construction.

Having been a member of the CCI family for nearly three decades, Tanya has been a first-hand witness to our company’s remarkable growth.
Her invaluable contributions range from working as a Project Coordinator on our large commercial projects, operating the scale house for our quarry, to coordinating CCI’s efforts for different self-perform trade teams. Tanya’s dedication to supporting each team in achieving success, be it through bid assistance, contract management, or workforce coordination, is truly appreciated by all. Known for her positive attitude and sense of humor, Tanya always finds a way to lighten the mood, even in the most challenging situations. Her eagerness to learn and interest in continued professional development are great examples to other associates. She doesn’t shy away from change and is willing to learn new software and programs or develop procedures to enhance CCI’s operations.
Tanya has been active with Meals on Wheels for several years, leaving work during her lunch break to deliver meals to those in need. She has a passion for this organization and takes the commitment very seriously, recognizing the impact these deliveries have on someone’s day. Building connections and spreading joy is what drives her, and she goes above and beyond by also assisting with fundraising efforts and toy drives for Toys for Tots. Even more, at CCI’s annual Community Construction Zone event, Tanya takes charge of the food tent, coordinating the work and volunteers to ensure a memorable experience for all attendees. This effort is no small feat and makes a huge impact on the overall experience of the event attendees.
In her role as CCI’s most experienced Project Coordinator, Tanya’s impact on the team has helped shape the company’s best practices and procedures. Recently, she has been working side-by-side with and is mentoring an associate who initially joined CCI as a high school intern. Tanya’s engaging personality and deep knowledge of processes have significantly aided in the training of the new associate and others. Her talent for mentoring continues to have a positive influence on her peers and her willingness to lean into something new serves as an inspiration for others to embrace change with excitement.
According to the Daily Reporter, although women account for only 10% of the building industry, they are paving the way for future generations and breaking glass ceilings in this diversity-challenged industry. Whether she is on the construction site or supporting building projects through marketing, law, communications, engineering, architecture, executive roles and more.
