Waaswaaganing Indian Bowl Living Arts & Culture Center
Respect for the past while celebrating the future
The Lac du Flambeau Tribe and community held a grand re-opening ceremony of the phase one completion of their much anticipated Waaswaaganing Indian Bowl Living Arts & Culture Center that honors their Native American heritage and traditions. The LDF-CCI team began rebuilding the cultural center in October of 2016. New features include a concession stand and restrooms, ticket booth, stadium seating for 1,000, and a 15,000 square foot outdoor dance arena.
Located in the center of the Lac Du Flambeau, Wis. community, tourists from around the nation continue to visit the first-class venue to learn about the Ojibwe culture through the arts, such as ceremonial dance, drums, and singing performances. The Tribe is currently seeking donations for phase two of their plan, the construction of additional seating and an adjacent cultural center. Visit indianbowlproject.org/donate/ for more information.
